I am an American Native English speaker studying German. I'm somewhere between a beginner and an intermediate learner of the language. I'm a senior about to graduate with a bachelor's in Biology. I want to better my speaking and writing in German with hopes of moving to a German speaking country one day. Hi. I studied German in 1983 at the Reinisch-Westphalishe Technische Hochschule in Aachen, Germany. I recieved a PNDS at the top of my class. Now, after all that work and 40 years, my German has become rusty, and I would like to improve that. Is there anyone who would be interested in conversing with me to help? I would enjoy that.

Hello! I'm Rits, an American who wants to get better at understanding Japanese! I lived in Yamaguchi for a time as a university student and was able to travel to other parts of Japan, where I learned much about the culture, people, and important aspects of the language which I needed in order to go from place to place. Now after returning to America, I have maintained my interest in engaging with Japanese culture, and would like to continue doing so by learning more about the language via casual interaction with native speakers.
