Hey! I'm Luigi. I'm a French/kiwi and grew up in New Zealand. I've spent the past couple years traveling around Europe learning Spanish and Arabic and would love to be able to keep that leaning going, not only for the language but also the culture.

Kia ora! I'm a professional migrant! I arrived in Dunedin, New Zealand, about 10 months ago and am working at a university. I have lived in Japan and can speak Japanese. (I did my PhD in Japan.) I'd like to practice my English. My English is broken, and unfortunately, when I attempt to speak, I tend to make very long and technical sentences, as I've learned English primarily by reading (scientific/academic) books. I'm also open to Japanese language exchange as I'm losing my skills. (I'm afraid my Japanese is also broken). I like science, drawing and running. I'm also a self-taught artist who wants to write and illustrate a children's book one day. I'm currently training for the Dunedin marathon, and these days, I encourage myself to read more instead of wasting my time on social media so as not to ruin my already-too-short attention span any more.
