Hi, I've lived in the US for most of my life and consider myself a native English speaker. I'm looking to meet people who can help me with my conversational skills as I plan to visit Korea later this year. Sadly, I'm a bit out of practice when it comes to my conversational skills in Korean, but hopefully you can help with that. In return, I think I can help you improve your English. It's been a few years, but I have tutored others, mostly in reading comprehension and grammar. About me, I love movies of all genres, some of my favorites are Gattaca, Sunshine and The Rock. Hello! After a long career as an economist, I'm easing into a new career as a part-time English teacher. I'm especially interested in helping students or working professionals with pronunciation, business English, and English for academic purposes (e.g., preparing for study abroad, presenting at conferences, reading academic texts, etc.). I'm also curious about Japanese (I only know half of hiragana and maybe 50 words) and Korean (I've learned Hangul and know maybe 200 words, zero grammar). Actually, I was already an English teacher for two years long ago (1988-90) and now I'm going back where I started. I have a BA in English Lit and two graduate degrees in natural resource economics, so I'm happy to discuss your academic ambitions if you have any. Over the years, I've studied Latin, German, Bahasa Indonesia, and Spanish, but I still have a lot to learn about all of these.

Hey im Mikey, ive been living in Viet Nam for two years. I owned a construction company in the uk for 17 year, after arriving in Vietnam I started teaching English in public schools, then robotics and coding at an intenational school in Saigon. Finally, working for a prominant family as a private tutor for their three children, preparing them for Harrow school in the UK. I enjoy playing badminton and skateboard in my spare time. Im interested in science, and currently studying a psycology degree. After a short time in China I am returning to Saigon and I would really like to learn Vietnamese to be able to comunicate in every day life.
