Hi! I'm Sophia, an 18-year-old student living in Glasgow. I grew up speaking both English and Russian, so I'm happy to help with either language. I'm interested in languages, culture, travel, and meeting people from different backgrounds. At the moment, I'm mainly focusing on French and Mandarin. My French is around B2/C1 level, my Spanish is around A2/B1, and I've also started learning Mandarin, German, and Polish. I'd like to learn Arabic and British Sign Language in the future as well. Outside of languages, I spend a lot of time doing sports and trying new activities. I enjoy running, weightlifting, cycling, swimming, Muay Thai, stretching, acrobatics, and flying trapeze. I also like reading and writing. If you're learning English or Russian, I'd be glad to help. Hello wonderful people of the world! My name is Silas, I'm 25, born and raised in the U.S. I'm half black and half Native American (Choctaw specifically, my great grandmother was born and raised on a Native Reservation and my grandfather was born less than 20 miles off of it.) I'm a fluent speaker of both English and my mother language of Chahta Anno̱pa, (Choctaw language) and having grown up in a city with a lot of Spanish speakers I was formerly fluent in Spanish too. (A goal I'm working towards is getting back fluent in that language again!) I'm an avid reader, writer and nature lover with a great joy for learning (and practicing) new languages. I'm very warm-hearted, kind, patient and compassionate with other people and I have a big heart for learning things about other people's culture and customs. I come from a very academically rigorous background, as I used to be a tutor in High School and College. I'm actually in the process of getting my TEFL certification so that by the end of 2026 I'll be fully certified at teaching English! (Another one of my goals is finishing up my Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering). I am a learner. I would love to speak fluently in french but unfortunately not so lucky with that. I am an introverted person with few friends and would love to get to know people through this platform as i practice my french with the friends i find here. i would love to also practice Italian in exchange for helping that lucky friend practice English as well. Hello, Moin, meine Muttersprache ist Englisch und ich wohne jetzt in Bremen. Ich möchte besonders mein mündliche Deutchniveau verbessern. I love and find life interesting. Currently running a Learning support Centre, my home language is English. I enjoy writing, music - I play guitar, busy studying Professional English On-line. I enjoy sports (for example martial arts, cycling, dancing, hiking). Also, I enjoy talking about various things and deep topics are very much my thing. PC gaming is also one of my interests, mainly MMORPGs. Out of all the lifeless things, music is what brings me the most joy. I like different kind of music, but in the recent years I'm listening to kpop the most. Out of Japanese music, my favorites are Izumi Sakai and Chisato Moritaka and IS:SUE. I learned English mainly through gaming, movies and just talking to different people all around the world - it isn't perfect, but good enough to to talk about anything. I can also speak some Russian. I've studied some Korean, but my level is very low. Now I'm studying Japanese, but my level is still very low and I'm a slow learner. I'm looking to make long term friends to get more motivation to learn Japanese and also to feel less lonely in this fast changing world 😄Not interested in anything more than friendship as I'm not single.
