Hello, I’m a mature learner and want to improve my French. I’m afraid my level is basic (A2 level). I’m a well-traveled person. I like to read current affairs, am interested in other cultures, and am open to any topic of conversation. I’m an English teacher and can help you improve your English. I have a voracious appetite for learning, my garden is my favourite place, travelling is one of my passions, quite an adventure person, generally interested in people, a keen observer and I'm willing to stretch my comfort zone.

Hi, I have been trying to learn French for 6 months, but I don’t think I’m progressing as well as I would like. I set realistic goals. I was aiming to be A2 level by 6months and A2/B1 within a year, but I have not made any improvement. Instead of just using language apps I have been listing to French radio, reading simple French articles and watching French tv shows to boost my learning. I do a French activity everyday. Despite this, I am still at an A1 level :( Either French is too difficult for me, or I need a different approach. I do not want to give up. Im hoping a native French speaker would help me with my language journey!
