My name is Amber Renee and I am an artist and designer living in the USA. I lived in Japan in college for a semester and fell in love. I've always been in love with Japanese pop culture and traditions so I just had to do a homestay with a Japanese family in 2006. It was one of my favorite memories. I've also traveled to Africa, Mexico, France, Nassau Island, Canada and all over the USA.
My hobbies are art, design, traveling, blogging, reading, writing, cooking, crafting; I love crafts. I especially love craft books from all over the world, mainly Japan. Do you like making things?
I love penpalling and sending packages to my penpals. I love swapping things like magazines, craft supplies, etc. I think it's so fun sending and receiving snail mail! Don't you? I love writing and receiving letters also -- it's great to make a new long-lasting friend.

I speak a bit of Japanese but only maybe elementary school level. I'm still learning and I don't know kanji well. It's so confusing to me!
