Language.Exchange

I am 24 years old Brasilian. I was born in Manaus but lived nearly all my life in Brasília, with the exception of one year in Boston, back when I was a kid. I'm not going to lie here, my life was an absolute disaster and I spent half of those 24 years depressed. I studied history in college before I had to be hospitalized, because I literally coudn't leave bed for 3 months. I spent two months in a mental hospital that every single soul working there treated me like a human being, no exceptions, ever. I... blame, my healing entirely on them.

Starting inside the mental hospital, I spent my last year reading classic literature ( Half of it in english ) and am working in a semi autobiographic novel. Quoting my favorite author:

“I'm trying to set down the story part of my generation in America and put myself in the middle as a sort of observer and conscious factor"

Meanwhile real life hit me in the face, as a 24 year old brasilian guy without a degree that still needs to take 6 different medication to fall sleep. Now I am preparing for my CPE and I hope it will be enought being my ONLY "degree", and I can work as a translator.


Thats me, I'm pretty crazy but I have a pretty proeficient level of english ( thanks Boston ) and I want to practice it.
