Language.Exchange

I started learning Nihongo when I was a kobudo student. I have an 8 year old boy who can read hiragana and katakana and some kanji. I would like to practice studying grammar with textbooks and conversation practice. Looking for partners for myself and my son. If he could learn with other kids that would be great! He can do voice chat with Nintendo Switch, so he can play games with other kids while speaking English and Japanese!

I am half Scottish and wish to learn the language of my ancestors. I know very few people speak it now, and most of them also already speak English, but I would love to learn if I could.

I took French in high school and can have small conversations, but there is still much I don't know, and having others to converse with would be great.
