Hello! I’m Clytie — a part-time student studying data analytics and a crochet designer. My native language is Mandarin Chinese, and I also studied Japanese for two terms in university, reaching roughly an upper-intermediate level.

I’m really passionate about creative arts like crochet, knitting, needlepoint, and I also love photography, movies, and traveling.

I’m currently looking for language exchange partners to help me improve my verbal communication skills in English. While I have a solid grasp of academic and professional English, I still struggle with speaking fluently in real-time conversations. I hope to improve my spoken English and listening skills, particularly in more casual, colloquial contexts.

In return, I’d be more than happy to share tips and insights on learning Mandarin from a native speaker’s perspective. I’m patient and love explaining how the language works in real-life settings, whether you’re just starting out or already on your way!
