Hello! My name is Daniel, and I’m delighted to connect with fellow language enthusiasts here. Originally from the beautiful country of Croatia, I’ve been calling the vibrant city of Seattle, Washington my home for the past 25 years. I’m 38 years young and live with my adorable 5 cats and 2 dogs who keep life interesting! My academic journey in English and Applied Linguistics has been quite fulfilling. I’ve spent 5 amazing years teaching English as a Second Language at the University level, where I discovered my passion for languages and cultural exchange. I am a Doctoral student writing my dissertation in interpersonal cross-ethnic relationships in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Israel. I am currently living in Katowice with my partner and hoping to pick up Polish and meet more people in the area. Hi! My name is Helena and I'm 16 years old. I study fashion design. I speak Serbian and Hungarian at native level and English at B2/C1 level. I was born and raised in Serbia, but my parents talked to me in Hungarian because my mom's from Hungary. When I started going to kindergarten I learned Serbian and now I know Serbian better than Hungarian. I can teach Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian very well (I speak Serbian but these 3 languages are very similar), but I never taught Hungarian before. I like to draw, bake, travel, spend time in nature, sew, read, play the piano and violin, photography, badminton, volleyball...
