I studied Japanese in high school and have recently taken it up again. I've been using Duolingo but need more opportunities to learn in a more natural context.

At the moment, I prefer to keep my personal details private.
I've studied a number of languages, with some of them attending lessons in the country and attaining level B1, but then I stop using them and I get very rusty.
I can speak English well too, as I've been in England for over 20 years.
Hola, no sé porque escribí lo anterior en inglés. Tal vez por costumbre. Llevo tantos años en Inglaterra y he intentado aprender tantos idiomas, que mi ortografía española es desastrosa. Así que le tengo que poner remedio y hacer algún curso de ortografía. Aparte de eso, mi idioma nativo es el castellano.
Con tantos idiomas, me vuelvo loco. Ahora me voy a concentrar en italiano, francés, portugués y japonés. Llegué al nivel B1 en alemán, pero creo que lo voy a dejar por ahora, para concentrarme en los otros. Así que me gustaría conocer gente para practicar esos idiomas en persona o por teleconferencia. Además de esos, debería aprender tailandés, pero mi mujer es de Tailandia, por tanto, ya tengo con quien practicar.
También estudié algo de ruso, pero no creo que pueda abarcarlo todo.

Hi :) I am Barbara (the short version is Barča in Czech). I learned English in school, but I don't believe in myself with speaking and generally in grammar, also extending my vocabulary isn´t a bad idea either.
I study at Masaryk University in Brno, so struggling with English in my studies was another reason to sign up here. I am looking forward to finding more confidence in English language and maybe find new international friends and learn some about their culture.
At the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, I started learning Swedish, currently, I know just a few words and phrases. So if we could speak in English and meanwhile correct my pronunciation of some Swedish words, it would be great. :)

Bonjour! Je m'appelle Liry. Je suis une étudiante chinoise de 18 ans et je suis actuellement en train d'apprendre le français.
J'ai de nombreuses passions. J'aime beaucoup me faire des amis, c'est une façon pour moi de découvrir le monde. J'écoute aussi de la musique légère pour me détendre, surtout après une journée de cours. En plus, je suis fan de jeux vidéo(PC et non-compétitifs). Et je lis régulièrement des livres, la plupart du temps des ouvrages de non-fiction, mais parfois un bon roman.
Ma langue maternelle est le chinois. Je peux parler un peu anglais, mais je sais que je dois encore l'améliorer.
Il y a deux ans, j'ai commencé à apprendre le français et, très vite, j'ai pris goût à cette langue. Je suis totalement fascinée par la culture et la langue françaises. Je me trouve même un désir d'aller étudier en France dans le futur.
